I had never really looked at the Prestige line (carried at Ulta). It's mixed in with all the drugstore things and isn't the biggest line, so I guess I had just overlooked it. Then I saw a couple reviews of the eyeshadow in Bewitched... It's a hard color to describe; it's taupey with a greenish gold duo chrome. It's simply stunning. These shades are $8.95 which is a bit pricey for a single shadow, but Bewitched is WORTH IT.

bareMinerals is known for their loose, mineral products for face and eyes. A couple of years ago, they (finally) released pressed versions of the eyeshadows.
I have two permanent quads. The Rare Find and The Happy Place.
The Rare Find contains two mattes and two shimmers (which seems to be how most of the quads are set up). Look For Words is a matte, warm, light brown. Surreal is a shimmery gold. Eureka is a gorgeous, shimmery olive green. Frisson is a matte, burgundy red. This is a beautiful quad for fall.
The Happy Place is a newer quad too my collection. Peace is a matte beigey peach. Imagine is stunning; a gorgeous melon with a gold duo chrome. Exhale is a matte taupe. Euphoria is a beautiful maroon.
The Ready eyeshadows are so awesome. The formula is super soft and pigmented. They blend well and last all day (over primer). Love these!

I have never really used Clinique products, but after seeing some positive reviews on the re formulated single shadows I decided to try a couple.
Black Honey is an iconic Clinique color. It's a deep burgundy red. It's really pigmented and looks amazing with blue eyes.
Rock Violet is a light lavender with a pink/gold shift. Really soft and pigmented.
These do kick up a fair amount of powder when you dip your brush in them.

NARS released two new eyeshadow duos for Spring 2014. Kauai caught my eye right away! It contains a gorgeous dirty gold and a shimmery medium purple.
I love a good red lip. It can instantly brighten up your face and take a look from boring to BAM!
MAC makes some of my favorite reds. They have one in every finish and every tone. Personally, I prefer a more matte red with bluish undertones. That's just what seems to work best on me.
L-R: Viva Glam 1, Ruby Woo, Relentlessly Red, MAC Red, Dare You, Brave Red.
Viva Glam 1 is the deepest red out of the group. It has a more brown undertone as well. This is a matte finish.
Ruby Woo is a neutral to slightly blue toned, super matte red.
Relentlessly Red is a very pink toned red. This was introduced in the Retro Matte collection (it's permanent).
MAC Red is a blue toned, satin finish red.
Dare You is more of a burgundy red. This is slightly more sheer and a Cremesheen.
Brave Red is a Cremesheen and blue toned.
My favorites are Ruby Woo and MAC Red.
I find Viva Glam 1 and Relentlessly Red the hardest for me to wear.
What's your favorite red?

I have always been one of those people that really didn't pay attention to my eyebrows. Sure, I'd clean them up, but beyond that I didn't see the point. I've always had fuller brows, but lately they seem to be getting a bit...patchy.
I've filled them in with different shadows and brow powders, but never likes the result. Last time I was at Sephora, I decided to check out Benefit's Gimme Brow. It's a tinted brow gel that also has little fibers to fill in sparse areas.

CoverGirl recently released the Bombshell Shineshadows. I picked up one in Copper Fling.
The color is a rosey gold with a nice sheen to it. The texture is a bit drier than I'm used to with cream shadows. It does blend nicely and wears well over a primer.

Urban Decay recently released a new line of lipgloss and added another member to the "Naked" family.
According to Sephora's website these glosses are supposed to be high shine and conditioning to the lips. They contain various ingredients to keep the lips healthy and nourished.
I picked up two shades: Naked and Walk of Shame. Naked is a pinky nude with shimmer. Walk of Shame is a very pale nude with shimmer.
Walk of Shame on the left. Naked on the right.
Let's start with what I like about these glosses... The packaging is gorgeous! It's a rose gold wrapped tube with the "Naked" logo cut into the side. You can clearly see what color you are grabbing in three spots: the cut out; the clear bottom portion of the tube; and the sticker on the bottom.
But...at $20 a pop something is missing for me. I wasn't expecting a SUPER pigmented gloss, but on my lips these don't even register. I do have fairly pigmented lips, but both of these are just...shiny. They feel nice on, but the lasting power is questionable. I'm not sure if I will keep these or return them. Maybe I need to try a few other colors. I'm not sure. I love UD, but I feel sort of *meh* about the Naked glosses.
