Budget Monday (or Tuesday): elf Lip Exfoliator

I live Minnesota where it has been brutally cold lately and my skin is suffering. My lips have been especially dry and flakey. I am a regular lip balm user, but even my heavy duty stuff wasn't cutting it. Cue the elf Lip Exfoliator!

This lip exfoliator comes in lipstick form. It's fairly abrasive (in other words...use caution and don't rub too hard). The scent is a bit...off, but nothing horrible.

One other thing to keep in mind; this isn't like a sugar scrub...you NEED to rinse the grit off with water after using.

Great budget friendly, travel safe, easy to use lip scrub!

My Holy Grail Products: Lip Balm

I live in Minnesota and winter can be brutal. My skin constantly feels dry and my lips are prone to cracking. I have tried so many different lip balms and most really do not work for me.

The best lip balm and my holy grail is...Jack Black lip balms!

I don't have a preference to scent or flavor and I've tried them all. I currently have three in rotation. These work so well to keep my lips hydrated and they last so long! I get these at Sephora for around $8.

Palette Collection: Part Six (picture heavy)

Final post about my palettes! Yes!
This post is all my MAC palettes (not all have MAC shadows in them though). Sadly, during my crazy depotting spree, I failed to keep track of shade names.
My MAC neutrals.

My MAC colors, a few Pro Longwear shades, and a few shadows from palettes.

This palette has all my Urban Decay singles, the depotted Glinda palette, and three Makeup Geek shades.

This has my NARS singles and duos, two Too Faced palettes, and the depotted Anastasia Catwalk palette.

This double decker palette has a mess of different things! The left side has all my bareMinerals Ready shadows, two Smashbox palettes, and two shades from Jane Iredale. The right side has 4 Bobbi Brown singles, a MAC pressed pigment, two Stila shadows, one from Benefit, and one random shadow I had.

Phew! That's it! Sorry for the numerous posts in one day, but I wanted my entire collection up to view!

Palette Collection: Part Five (picture heavy)

And part 5...

Balm Voyage was The Balm's holiday 2013 palette. The packaging and theme are so cute! I love that the cream lip/cheek products have their own cover to keep powder fallout away.

My large Z Palette contains two random elf singles, a Stila palette, and the shades from 2012s Layra Mercier Artist palette.

Urban Decay Vice 2 is one of my favorite palettes. The packaging feels luxe and the colors are so pretty. There are a lot unique colors.

Palette Collection: Part Four (picture heavy)

Part Four...

This palette was part of a QVC Today's Special Value from holiday 2012. It's a bit bulky and hard to store. The colors are pretty and I need to use this more. Tarte's eyeshadows are usually quite nice.

Kat Von D Spellbinding Eyeshadow Book. This was limited edition for holiday 2013. It's full of lovely shades; I just wish there were a couple more matte shades since I always need to grab another palette to work with this.

Smashbox released the Wondervision Mega Palette at the end of 2013. The shades are super buttery. The color payoff is amazing. This palette has nearly every color you could want.

The Too Faved A Few of my Favorite Things palette was extremely popular this past holiday season...and it deserved all the hype it got. It's gorgeous, was a great value, and is travel friendly.

The Joy to the Girls palette was limited edition (as of this post, it's still available on Sephora's website). Too Faced released some great palettes in 2013. This one is good, but not quite on par with the A Few of my Favorite Things.

Palette Collection: Part Three (picture heavy)

Oh boy...part 3!

Lorac Pro palette...at this point everyone has seen it.

it Cosmetics Naturally Pretty palette is an all matte (except one shade) palette. It's stunning. The shadows are buttery soft with awesome pigmentation.

Urban Decay Naked 2 is the taupe heavy palette in the Naked line. It's beautiful.

Naked 3...so rosy, so pretty. Love this new addition to my collection!

This Tarte palette was from a limited edition set from holiday 2012. I don't use it much and really should; the colors are gorgeous!

Palette Collection: Part Two (picture heavy)

Here's part two of my palette collection! I'll have to admit, putting this together is a bit eye opening. I definitely need to lay off the palette purchases!

The Balm's Balm Jovi palette is new to me, but it's so much fun!

The Be Merry, Be Bright palette from Too Faced was limited edition for holiday 2013. It is two small palettes; one more neutral and one with brighter colors.

Meet Matt(e) Nude is The Balm's all matte neutral palette. The shadows are huge!

This was the eye palette from Tarte's Bow and Go Today's Special Value from QVC. The colors are beautiful and the payoff is great.

The Balm's answer the the nude palette craze? Nude'tude! Pretty colors and fun packaging? Love it.
